Sales has a bad image. We are working to change that.
selling2b Consulting GmbH develops sales teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With a method that works in salespeople’s day-to-day reality, and with trainers who have spent years selling and leading themselves. In English or German.
Selling well means helping the customer make a better decision
Ask a hundred people on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich or Maximilianstrasse in Munich what they think of when they hear “salesperson”, and you will rarely hear anything positive. The image of the rep who talks people into things instead of listening is stubborn. Well-run sales is the opposite: it understands the customer’s business, asks the right questions and helps them make a decision they will happily recommend later. That is exactly the standard we train. Salespeople who know their product, take the customer seriously and therefore convince without bending themselves out of shape. That is more demanding than any closing technique, and it is why customers come back after the first order. selling2b started with one question: what does sales training have to look like so that it reaches salespeople’s day-to-day work and stays there? The answer is in every one of our programmes today: more real conversations, a system instead of isolated training days, and trainers who love the subject.
Meet our team
Every senior trainer at selling2b has their own sales career behind them, usually with leadership responsibility, plus methodological training and ongoing development within the team. And something that cannot be taught: they love the subject. Participants notice it within the first ten minutes, and that energy carries over, from the trainer to the team and from there into every customer conversation. Business actors complement the trainings as a counterpart who cannot simply be talked round.

A method from practice, refined over more than 500 trainings
Marvin Verweyen has worked in B2B sales training since 2014. Before and alongside that: sales and leadership roles in industry, consulting and training companies, most recently in senior management. He founded selling2b in 2022, based in Zug as selling2b Consulting GmbH since 2025. The method behind it has grown over years and several hundred trainings, loop by loop: tried, improved, tried again, until it held up in participants’ day-to-day work. What is called Golden Hour™ or Sales Challenge Course™ today started as an observation in a training room and an attempt on the phone the next day. Three books (in German) document that path: 22 Strategien für mehr Neukunden, Du kannst nicht NICHT verhandeln and Golden Hour – Wie du täglich Neukunden gewinnst.
Four principles built into every selling2b programme
Every training with us has a before and an after. These four building blocks make sure what is learned shows up in customer conversations.
Winning new customers as a daily routine. 60 minutes, fixed in the calendar, with one clear target: conversations with decision-makers.
Learning in stages. Between modules, participants put things into practice, bring their cases back and keep working on them.
Trained actors play the buyer who negotiates hard and the decision-maker with little time. Afterwards there is feedback from the customer’s perspective.
Concept, preparation and follow-up run through selling2b. Across several locations or languages, several trainers from the team work with the same content.
Why our programmes are built the way they are
Every selling2b programme rests on three models from learning research. They explain why we train in stages, why most of the time is spent in conversation, and why we measure a training’s success by behaviour rather than by the feedback form.
According to Hermann Ebbinghaus, most newly learned material is lost within a few days without repetition. Every repetition at the right time flattens the curve. That is why the Sales Challenge Course™ is divided into modules with real-world tasks in between, and why every programme includes follow-up.
Selling is a behaviour, not knowledge. We keep the input short and spend most of the training time in conversation: simulations with a business actor, live calls, feedback, then the next round. What participants have said three times themselves, they will also say to the customer.
Donald Kirkpatrick distinguishes whether participants liked a training, whether they learned something, whether they behave differently and whether that delivers results. Most trainings are evaluated at level one. We work at levels three and four: with KPIs such as decision-maker conversations and meeting rate, and with debriefs and follow-ups that show what has changed day to day.
What we have achieved for our clients

At your premises, across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and beyond
Trainings take place where your team works: at your company, in a conference hotel or remote, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For international programmes, trainers and business actors from the team as well as partners work in more than ten languages, so that one concept reaches several locations at the same quality.
Four commitments before you decide
Before a proposal becomes binding, you talk to the trainer who will work with your team. If it is not the right fit, we propose someone else.
Simulations and exercises are built on the customers, products and objections your team meets every day.
Real-world tasks, debriefs and follow-ups are part of every programme, because that is where it is decided what remains of the training.
Participants and clients rate us 5.0 on Google in Germany and 5.0 in Switzerland. You will find the reviews linked in the footer.
